Drinking the homebrew

Belgian Golden Ale

Yes that's a lot of head BUT the style for this beer is modeled after Duvel where the so-called perfect pour looks like this:

The homebrew came out excellent. Its exceeded all my expectations. Compared to Duvel the beer is darker, more cloudy, has a more carmalized character and more hoppy aromatically. The bottled version gives off a banana ester quality when first opened which quickly dissipates when poured. The stuff that was bottled in the party pig so far has not given off that banana aroma.

The only drag so far its so good its hard not to drink it and make it last. Its days are numbered and I don't think it will make it past mid-may after my final exam...

Cheers!
